‘Turkish President Erdogan reports insults against Geert Wilders’ | NOW

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has filed a complaint against Geert Wilders through his lawyer Hüseyin Aydin. The PVV leader is said to have insulted Erdogan with the publication of a cartoon of him.

The lawyer has filed the complaint with the public prosecutor in Ankara, several Turkish media report.

Wilders recently shared a cartoon of Erdogan on Twitter. The Turkish president is depicted with a bomb on his head.

The PVV leader previously called Erdogan a “terrorist” on Twitter. The Turkish head of state had already responded to this. According to the Turkish state news agency Anatolia he called Wilders a “facist”.
