The date for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Turkey has not been set, but it could take place in August. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Erdogan today.
The exact date has not yet been determined. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Intelligence Service are currently working on the matter. I hope that Putin’s visit to Turkey will take place in August, said Erdogan, speaking after Friday prayers in Istanbul.
The Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency reported after this week’s telephone conversation between Erdogan and Putin that the Turkish President had agreed with his Russian counterpart on his recent visit to Turkey.
Turkey plans to process the Russian grain that will be sent through the Black Sea Corridor. This flour will be sent to the poorest African countries, Erdogan also said, without specifying which Black Sea corridor he was referring to.
Last month, Moscow suspended its participation in the agreement on the export of grain from Ukrainian ports, notes BTA.
