Our National Women’s Volleyball Team faced off against Brazil in the first match of Group B of the 2024 Paris Olympic Qualifications. The fight ended with the Sultans of the Net leading 3-0.
The match schedule of the national team in the Olympic qualifiers is as follows:
Saturday, September 23: 13.30 Türkiye – Japan
Sunday, September 24: 10.00 Türkiye – Belgium
“THE TOP 2” WILL RECEIVE OLYMPIC QUOTAS
As a result of the Olympic Games Qualifications, the top 2 teams in their groups will earn a quota for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The “Olympic hopes” of the teams that could not place in the top 2 of their groups in the qualifiers will continue in the 2024 Nations League competition.
The countries that are in the “top 5” in the 2024 rankings, which will be formed as a result of the Nations League, where the Sultans of the Net became champions and won the title of world number “1”, will be among the 12 countries that will participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
France will directly participate in the Olympic Games through the host quota.
GROUPS
Olympic qualifications are played in 3 groups in 3 different countries. In the qualifiers, 24 teams will compete for the Olympic visa in China, Japan and Poland.
The groups are as follows:
Group A (China): China, Canada, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Netherlands, Serbia, Ukraine
Group B (Japan): Japan, Turkey, Brazil, Belgium, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Peru
Group C (Poland): Poland, Colombia, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Slovenia, Thailand, USA.
