The Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, issued an important warning about the harmful effects of high heat on human health, noting that this heat may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.

The minister emphasized in a tweet on Twitter that extreme heat may cause a range of health risks, and pointed out the importance of drinking fluids regularly to maintain the balance of the amount of blood in the body and to avoid dehydration caused by excessive sweating.

He pointed out that high blood density may increase the risk of heart attacks, especially in people who already suffer from cardiovascular disease.

This warning comes at a time when Turkey is witnessing the highest temperatures during the summer, as temperatures in the country rose from 4 to 8 degrees above seasonal rates.

According to meteorological forecasts, temperatures in Turkey are expected to remain above seasonal averages during the next week, and the effect of hot weather is expected to continue throughout the country until next Tuesday.
