Turkish Football Federation imposes record fines on Adana Demirspor President and other clubs for unsportsmanlike behavior

Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) gave Adana Demirspor Club President Murat Sancak a fine of 1 million 78 thousand liras in total, as well as deprivation of rights for 5 months and 12 days.

According to the statement made by the Federation, Sancak received a total of 42 days of deprivation of rights and 200 thousand liras for his unsportsmanlike actions towards the match referee and his representative, 4 months of deprivation of rights and 400 thousand liras for his actions towards the referee in the referee locker room corridors, and 400 thousand liras for his statements to the media. A fine of 78 thousand liras was imposed for being in areas where it was not accredited.

While the club was fined 168 thousand liras due to the incidents caused by Adana Demirspor fans, manager Metin Korkmaz was also fined 78 thousand liras.

Istanbulspor President Ecmel Sarıalioğlu was sentenced to a fine of 100 thousand liras and 21 days of deprivation of rights for his unsportsmanlike actions. The Board fined MKE Ankaragücü Club a total of 372 thousand liras, Mondihome Kayserispor 56 thousand liras, Beşiktaş 440 thousand liras and Fenerbahçe 112 thousand liras on the grounds of various incidents and ugly chants caused by their fans.
