Turkish Presidency spokesman Ibrahim Kallan was on an official visit to the Ukrainian capital and was received by President Zelenski, TRT reported.
Along with him in Kyiv is Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Yonal.
Cullen also met with Turkish citizens and Crimean Tatars on an iftar at the Turkish embassy in Kyiv.
“The purpose of this visit is to discuss relations between Turkey and Ukraine and, of course, the ongoing war, as well as to contribute to efforts to end the war,” said Cullen, one of Erdogan’s closest people.
Zelensky thanked Turkey for its support for Ukraine, the balanced diplomacy it defends and enforces, and the approach that gives priority to negotiations.
