Turkish Ambassador to Washington Hasan Murat Mercan visited the “Istanbul Photo Awards 2021” exhibition in New York on Wednesday.
Accompanied by the Turkish Consul General in New York, Reyhan Ozgur, Hasan Murat Mercan discovered the award-winning photographs of the “Istanbul Photo Awards 2021”, presented by the Anadolu Agency (AA) at the headquarters of the United Nations.
The same activity was organized last week at the Turkevi (Turkish House) center in New York, inaugurated in September by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
A selection of 40 photographs, describing the events that marked the world last year, including the explosion of the port of Beirut, the World Superbike Championship, the Covid-19 epidemic, is presented to visitors.
The “Istanbul Photo Awards 2021” exhibition will run until October 29.
