Turkish Airlines and its subsidiary Anadolu Jet are increasing their frequencies from Germany to Turkey this summer.
Last summer, Turkish Airlines gradually resumed connections to Germany after the flight was halted in the wake of the corona pandemic. For example, the airline flew again to Leipzig, Cologne/Bonn or Hanover. The Turkish national carrier and its subsidiary Anadolu Jet are now presenting their summer flight schedule, including 72 weekly flights from Germany FVW reported.
Travel to Turkey from eight German airports
Summer is fast approaching and so is planning this year’s holiday. In line with this, Turkish Airlines and its subsidiary Anadolu Jet are presenting their 2022 summer flight schedule. Together, the two airlines offer 388 weekly flights from 29 countries. This represents a significantly higher number than in 2019, which was the most successful year for Turkish Airlines to date.
The two airlines serve Germany from a total of eight cities with 72 weekly flights. Turkish Airlines flies from Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin and Stuttgart to Izmir and from Berlin to Bodrum. Anadolu Jet, on the other hand, takes over the connections from Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Cologne/Bonn and Hanover to Antalya Tourism up to date. Travelers from Germany can currently enter Turkey with the 3G rules, i.e. either with proof of vaccination or recovery or alternatively a negative antigen or PCR test result, as from the Federal Foreign Office website can be seen.
Specifically, Turkish Airlines will offer 140 weekly flights to 38 destinations this summer. In comparison, in 2019 there were only 83 flights a week to 30 destinations each. On the other hand, Anadolu Jet handles slightly more flights. There are 248 flights a week in 39 different cities.
