Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, confirmed that Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of Al-Ahly Club, had contacted him during the last days in order to check on his health.
And Al Sheikh wrote in a post that he posted on his personal account on Facebook Friday morning: “Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, head of Al-Ahly Club, contacted me twice in the past two days in which he reassured my health.”
He added: “By thanking him for this communication, I wish him and his generous family goodness, and that our Lord preserves everyone.”
Turki Al-Sheikh had announced his resignation from the honorary presidency of Al-Ahly Club, explaining: “I am now ordering health conditions and great connections at work, I preferred to withdraw, and to keep the Al-Ahly Club in my heart, the General Assembly and the club’s elections are close and timed for every recent incident.”
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly announced in an official statement before the Al-Sheikh’s resignation that he is still an honorary president for him, after the Saudi Chancellor inquired more than once about his first resignation position.
