The relegation of Türkgücü Munich from the third football league is becoming more and more likely. On Wednesday, the German Football Association (DFB) announced that the responsible specialist group for match operations had rejected an objection by the club to the point deductions imposed. The association wants to calculate eleven points away from Munich. However, this decision is still not final. Türkgücü can now appeal to the DFB presidium because of the nine points deducted for filing an insolvency application; Türkgücü can appeal to another specialist group that another two points were deducted as a penalty for not meeting a deadline to prove economic performance. However, it is very likely that the decision will be reversed. Türkgücü is currently in last place with 18 points and with this mortgage it should be even more difficult to find a lender to finance the game operations for April and May. The provisional insolvency administrator had previously stated that it would no longer be possible to continue playing after March without external sources of money. If Türkgücü can no longer compete before or on the Easter weekend, the team would be removed from the ranking.
