The US Space Agency (NASA) has reported similarities between Lake Salda in Turkey and the planet Mars.
After NASA’s Perseverance space robot’s trip to Mars that began the day before yesterday, NASA Earth has posted on Twitter.
In a tweet, NASA shared satellite images of Lake Salda in Turkey.
According to the tweet, Lake Salda has geological similarities with the crater of Mars and is a reminder that studies were carried out in Lake Salda before the trip.
“Lake Salda in Turkey has geological similarities with the Jezero crater on Mars. Indeed, the researchers had even carried out studies in the lake to prepare for the flight to Mars ”reports Nasa Earth in its tweet.
