As if implying that there are already agreements that he will not allow to be changed.

Specifically, the fifth and last paragraph of the announcement states:

A key topic on the agenda of the Turkish National Security Council was the developments in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the situation on the ground regarding Turkish military operations against the Kurds of the PKK and PYD organizations, in Northern Iraq and Syria respectively, as well as dealing with of members of the FETO network, followers of the preacher Fethullah Gülen, whom Ankara accuses of masterminding the 2016 coup attempt.

Specifically, in addition to the reference to the Aegean and the Mediterranean, the announcement of the National Security Council states:

“1. The Council was informed about the operations conducted with determination, determination and success at home and abroad against all kinds of threats and dangers against our national unity and solidarity and our survival, especially against the terrorist organizations PKK/KCK, PYD/YPG , FETO and Islamic State, as well as on recent international developments.

»2. It was emphasized that the activities to neutralize the terrorist organizations nesting in the Syrian territory will continue uninterrupted and that any plans or completed efforts that could harm our national security will not be tolerated. Efforts will be stepped up to end the conflict in the country, in line with the interests and aspirations of our region and the Syrian people.

»3. Our determination to continue our cooperation with our neighbor Iraq in the fight against terrorist organizations, especially the PKK/KCK and PYD/YPG, which pose a common threat to our countries, was reaffirmed and the importance we attach to to the security, peace and prosperity of the brotherly Iraqi people.

»4. In addition to Turkey’s determined efforts to stop the year-long genocide of the Palestinian people in front of the eyes of the whole world and to achieve without delay a lasting cease-fire and peace in Palestine, international efforts must continue to increase.

“In order to prevent Israeli attacks aimed at spreading the conflicts in the Middle East beyond the Palestinian Territories, the actors in positions of responsibility, in particular the United Nations Security Council, are called upon to take action as soon as possible.

“In the face of Israel’s inhuman attacks, it is confirmed that Turkey, as a nation and state as a whole, will stand by the brotherly people of Lebanon and its government.

“The declaration of the United Nations Secretary General as a “person undesired” by Israel and the ban on his entry into the country is condemned as the latest example of Israel’s lawlessness.”
