The Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, reported that they had taken this measure as a result of the rapid expansion of the new strain of Covid-19 detected in countries such as the United Kingdom, Denmark or South Africa, and considered much more contagious than the original. In fact, he stressed that travelers from these destinations will have to undergo a quarantine once they arrive. Koca also warned that those passengers who do not carry proof of having taken the test they will not be able to board at origin.
