Turkey: Message against terrorism from Erdogan –

President Erdogan returned to Istanbul from Kazan, where he participated in the BRICS Summit. President Erdogan held a security meeting upon his return from the BRICS Summit.

The meeting held at the Ataturk Airport State Guest House was attended by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Giler, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, Chief of General Staff General Metin Girak, National Intelligence Agency Chief Ibrahim Kalin, Chief of the Communications Department of the Presidency Fahrettin Altun, the Head of the Defense Industry of the Presidency (SSB) Haluk Girgin, the Chief Adviser to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Kilic, and the Deputy Chairman and AK Party Spokesperson Omer Celi.

The terrorist attack on the Turkish TUSAŞ in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara and the fight against terrorism were discussed at the meeting. The meeting emphasized that the fight against terrorism and “efforts for a Turkey without terrorism” will continue and that the creation of a “terrorist state” across the border will never be allowed.
