An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale was registered in Turkey shortly before 8 p.m. local time. This was announced by the European Seismological Center.
Earthquake near Istanbul
According to this information, the epicenter was located 46 km southwest of the city of Mersin (with a population of about 537 thousand people). The quake was at a depth of 10 km. There are no reports of casualties or damage.
