Turkey expects Ukrainian grain exports to start on Monday – Abroad – News – TVNET

There is a very high possibility that a ship with Ukrainian grain will leave on Monday morning, said the press representative of the office, adding that only one or two details still need to be resolved.

The suspension of supplies from the two major grain exporting countries – Ukraine and Russia – is one of the factors behind the price increase, which has made food imports in the world’s poorest countries almost unaffordably expensive.

In the following hours after the signing of the July 22 agreement, wheat prices fell sharply.

However, the very next day, Russia again fired missiles at the port of Odessa, which increased concerns about the prospects for the implementation of the agreement.
