As of 20.50, the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey has reached 17,134 people, the number of injured – 70,347 people, the Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) said.
As previously reported, a catastrophic earthquake occurred on February 6 in Turkey. Its magnitude was 7.4. Powerful tremors were recorded in the early morning. The earthquake also affected the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus. According to the latest data, 1347 people died there, more than 2.2 thousand people were injured.
