Napoli earned a convincing 4-0 victory from his trip to home Torino. Victor Osimhen scored two goals for Neapolitans.

The Torino vs Napoli duel took place at the Olimpico Grande Torino on Sunday (19/3/2023) evening WIB. Napoli took a two-goal lead in the first half through Osimhen and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (penalties).

Osimhen scored his second goal of the match early in the second half. Tanguyu Ndombele completed Napoli’s victory after breaking into Torino’s goal before the game lasted 70 minutes.

With this victory, Napoli are increasingly comfortable at the top of the Italian League standings. The Naples team have collected 71 points from 27 matches, 21 points ahead of their closest rivals Inter Milan who are only a few hours away from competing. Meanwhile, Torino slipped to 11th place with 37 points.

Victor Osimhen opened Napoli’s lead when the game had only been nine minutes old. From Piotr Zielinski’s corner on the right wing, Osimhen greeted the ball with a header into the bottom corner of the Torino goal.

The referee awarded a penalty to Napoli after Kvaratskhelia was fouled by Linetty. Kvaratskhelia converted it into a goal with a shot towards the center of the goal. Score 2-0 to Napoli’s advantage in the 35th minute.

After halftime, Napoli forced Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to pick up the ball for the third time. Osimhen again broke into the opponent’s goal with a deadly header, this time from a tight angle, after maximizing Mathias Olivera’s cross.

The replacement of Piotr Zielinski with Tanguy Ndombele paid off. The substitute confirmed Napoli’s dominance by scoring another goal in the 68th minute.

Ndombele completed Osimhen’s collaboration with Kvaratskhelia with a low kick into the bottom corner of the goal while changing the score to 4-0.
