Shooting in the street, in the late morning today, Friday 1 April 2022, in via Domodossola 7 in Turin. A 34-year-old woman, of Kosovar nationality, was injured after being shot in the legs by three gunshots by her former partner. Given a first reconstruction of the facts (here the story of an eyewitness), the man and the woman would have had a quarrel, which resulted in a fight, first on the sidewalk and then in the street, where the attacker then pulled out his gun and fired. Soon after, he fled, in the direction of Corso Francia. The gun was found in Piazza Rivoli.
Promptly rescued, the woman was taken by 118 health personnel to the Giovanni Bosco hospital in Turin where she is currently hospitalized: her conditions are not defined as worrying by the doctors. The mobile team of the Turin police headquarters is investigating the case. The perpetrator was blocked by a patrol in the course of Lecce and arrested for attempted murder. The motive is sentimental. The victim lives not far from the site of the attempted murder and was out to go shopping when she met her ex-boyfriend on her way.
