Turin hairdresser forced for years to pay the lace – La Stampa

TORINO. For over two years he had been paying the installments of an “insurance policy” to avoid trouble. In reality he was forced to pay the threats with threats.

A hairdresser from Turin, in the elegant Crocetta district, was forced to pay, starting from January 2018, to protect his shop. Death threats continue to force him to pay the money and not report. The sum paid so far amounts to over 10 thousand euros. The extortionist, who boasted of being close to the Spada clan and friend of the Casamonica family, offered to protect him from trouble in exchange for small monthly installments.

After years of threats and installment payments, the victim reported his affair to the Nichelino carabinieri and specified that another installment of 300 euros would soon expire. The carabinieri organized the service and after the exchange of money they intervened and arrested the extortionist. This is Danilo Urraso, 43 years old, living in Turin.

The search at the home of the arrested person allowed to find and seize an SUV rented by the victim who had had to deliver it to him (by paying the installments). Also seized two Rolex, three mobile phones, 15 thousand euros in cash, knives, a machete and several fake guns. The man may also have asked for money from other merchants in Turin and the province.
