Two more superstar films to OTT soon. Mammootty’s Turbo and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 are the upcoming OTT releases.
Turbo OTT: Turbo
‘Turbo’ is a super hit movie directed by Vysakh starring Mammootty. The film starred Mammootty, Dileesh Pothan, Anjana Jayaprakash, Sunil, Shabarish Verma, Bindu Panicker, Amina Nijam and Niranjana Anoop, and Canadian star Raj B Shetty played the lead role. Raj B Shetty is famous for Garuda Gamana Rishabha Vahana and Tobi.
The film was produced by Mammootty’s company. Written by Mithun Manuel Thomas, the film earned around 70 crores at the box office. The film is distributed by Wayfarer Films and Dulquer’s Truth Global Films.
Indian 2 OTT: Indian 2′
‘Indian 2’ directed by Shankar was a much awaited film by Kamal Haasan fans. ‘Indian 2’ is the second installment of the 1996 superhit film ‘Indian’. However, the film failed to achieve the expected success. Indian 2 hit the theaters on July 12. The film’s worldwide collection is Rs 139 crore.
Indian 2 is co-produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. Kamal Haasan played the role of Senapati, a freedom fighter who fights against corruption. Starring Siddharth, SJ Surya, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh and others.
Anyway, by coincidence Turbo and Indian 2 are hitting OTT on the same day. OTT streaming of both the films will begin on August 9. Indian 2 will stream on Netflix while Turbo will stream on Sony Live.
