Tunnels of Terror expansion will be out on April 12 and gets trailer

Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios have revealed the launch trailer for Back 4 Blood — Expansion 1: Tunnels of Terror, showcasing all the new action that’s on its way to the co-op zombie shooter as part of the first major DLC, scheduled for release. for April 12th.

The trailer features two new playable Sentinels debuting in this expansion: Sharice, an axe-wielding firefighter known for her defensive prowess, and Heng, a tough-as-nails restaurateur skilled at wiping out Infected with his knife.

The video also offers an in-depth look at the new Ridden Hives PvE (Player vs. Environment) co-op activity, where teams of up to four players can explore the cavernous depths of seven Contaminated areas filled with labyrinthine tunnels below Evansburgh. To earn rewards, players must vanquish new Twisted Contagions, including the Trunks, which lay landmines, creepy Rippers, and damage-dealing Reapers. These variations of Infected are also seen in PvP (Player vs. Player) Swarm and can be obtained from new Sentry Guns for use in PvP matches.

Additionally, the Tunnels of Terror expansion will include seven new legendary weapons, eight unique character skins, 12 all-new weapon skins, new cards, and more. The expansion will also coincide with the release of Hopeless difficulty, a free upgrade for everyone who owns Back 4 Blood, adding an extra level of challenge for elite players. It’s worth noting that the playable content included in the expansion will be accessible to all players in a group, as long as a player in that group has purchased the expansion.

Back 4 Blood is available for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
