Tuniv, starring Ajith, Manju Warrier and Samudrat Kani in lead roles, has reportedly collected Rs 93 crore in three days of its release. The film was released on January 11.
The film, which received a good response on the first day, was a bit of a letdown on the second day. But on the third day, the film was able to see the audience again. The collection of the film is expected to cross 100 crore on the fourth day, Saturday.
The film earned Rs 46 crore from Tamil Nadu. The film grossed between Rs 65 to 70 crores in the country including collections in other states. 93 crores including overseas collections.
After the films ‘Nerkonda Parvai’ and ‘Valimai’, ‘Thuniv’ is the film that reunites H Vinod and Ajith. The makers are trying to release the film as a pan-Indian release. The film will be released in five languages. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor. The film also stars Veera, Samudharkani, John Koken and Telugu actor Ajay in lead roles. Cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Vijay Velukkutty. The action director of the film is Supreme Sundar.
