Tunis – In the worsening crisis in Tunisia, President Kais Saied now has the support of an influential neighbor in the region after taking office. Egypt officially stood behind Saied and was convinced that the “wise” head of state could “overcome the current situation as soon as possible”. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in Cairo on Sunday. Any violence against state institutions must be avoided in order to maintain stability.
