Tuktamysheva spoke about the ridiculous situation at the competition
Figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva told Match TV how at the junior stage of the Grand Prix she went on the ice without taking off the covers from her skates.
Tuktamysheva announced in October 2023 that she was taking a break from her career.
— At the first Junior Grand Prix, I was so worried that I went out on the ice to warm up in covers. The coaches looked at it that way. They probably thought she was going to skate now. “I quickly took off the covers and went to warm up,” Tuktamysheva told Match TV.
Tuktamysheva is the 2015 European and world champion.
