The beginning of the incident was when the Qalyubia Security Directorate received a notification from the sheriff of the Khanka police station, stating that a report had been received from the residents that a tuk-tuk driver had been arrested and tried to rape a girl in the middle of the farms in the district of the station.
Witnesses of the incident in the investigations said that they heard screams and calls for help from the girl, so they went towards the sound to find her, and succeeded in catching the accused, freeing the girl from his hands, and taking her to the hospital.
The security services moved and it was found that the accused works as a tuk-tuk driver, and during the return of the girl, who is 15 years old, and accompanied by 3 of her classmates from one of the private lessons, they rode the tuk-tuk to deliver them to their homes, and on the way the three girls got off in front of their homes and the victim remained alone to deliver her to her home, and on the way he played The devil hit the accused’s head and deviated it to one of the crops in the Khanka area, stopped the vehicle and tried to sexually assault her after he tried to forcefully strip her of her clothes.
The girl kept screaming until a group of families came and grabbed the accused and freed the girl from him. They informed the security services that attended, and the accused was arrested and the girl was taken to the hospital by conducting a medical examination on her, and it was found that she had been subjected to violent sexual assault.
By presenting it to the Public Prosecution, it ordered the accused to be imprisoned and referred to trial, so it issued its previous decision, and the court rejected the accused’s defense request to release him and decided to continue his detention.
