TUI boss Fritz Joussen said when presenting the figures: “We had a successful summer season after the relaunch. “TUI’s operational business recovered significantly in the final quarter of the 2021 financial year. The first financial quarter of 2022 is almost completely booked out at 93%. This means that in the current quarter we have reached 69% of the pre-crisis capacity ”.

TUI predicts that booking numbers in summer 2022 will return to the level of 2019, i.e. before the pandemic.
