Strike

for revaluation

and another budget for Education

After the large-scale mobilization on November 10, the national inter-union calls on all staff to a new day of strike and mobilization in our sector.

Everything leads us to the demand for more education for all young people in a context where inequalities continue to widen and where the reforms carried out by the Minister worsen them. However, the Parliament adopted a budget which is far from reflecting the educational ambition which our country needs. Indeed, it does not take the measure of the increase in numbers, the health situation which particularly imposes measures to reduce the number of students per class in the short and medium term and the state of fatigue of staff, exhausted by years of deteriorating working conditions.

The CGT, FO, FSU, SUD, SNCL trade unions demand a budget that does away with job cuts and makes up for the wage losses suffered, thanks to a multi-year plan to upgrade and create jobs. to meet all needs, starting with the most urgent.

They call for the implementation of an educational policy other than that conducted until now by the Minister of National Education. The organizations call on the staff to continue the ongoing mobilizations, to engage in action and to prepare a strike on Tuesday, January 26 to demand job creation, another educational policy, the thawing of the value of the point of index coupled with significant measures to revalue salaries and careers in education. They commit staff to build, as of now, a dynamic of mobilization through local actions, meetings, motions and collective letters to the IA-DASEN, the Rectors, the government, etc.

Read and distribute the complete inter-union leaflet calling for us to mobilize to start a sustained strike movement from Tuesday, January 26.
