In the first quarter, the team led by Mārtiņš Gulbs won only by a point advantage (18:17), but in the first half of the second quarter they made a 16-point breakthrough, gaining a strong lead.

The winners with 20 points were Jessica Thomas, 19 points were scored and Binta Drameha took five balls, but Aija Klakocka had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

The opponents had 13 points and eight balls under the baskets for the basketball player of the “TTT Rīga” system Vanessa Jasa, but ten points were scored by Luīze Šepte.

Also in the elite group “Riga Stradins University” unit beat the BJBS “Riga” / “Juniors” team in their square with 51:48 (8:16, 17:15, 9:10, 17: 7).

In the RSU team Ieva Stefanija Jundase scored with 17 points, eight rebounds and five intercepted balls, but Elīna Grīnberga had 12 points and 12 balls under the baskets.

The guests had 11 points for Nikola Priede, but ten points, ten rebounds and six intercepted balls – for Ance Laila Zeidaka.

With three victories in three games, “TTT Rīga” takes the first place in the tournament table.

Five Latvian teams play in the elite group of the Baltic League: “TTT Riga”, “Liepaja” / LSSS, RSU, BJBS “Riga” / “Juniors” and “University of Latvia”

Four Lithuanian teams (Vilnius “Kibirkštis-MRU”, Kaunas “Aistes-LSMU”, Šiauliai “Šiauliai” and Klaipeda “Neptunas”), as well as two Estonian teams (“Tallinn University” and “University of Tartu”) have also entered the tournament.

As in the previous season, Latvian and Estonian teams will play in the international group. Latvia will be represented by “Daugavpils University”, “Jelgava” / “BJSS”, “Jurmala” and “Saldus” / “Sports School”, which started last season, as well as five new teams – BJBS “Riga” / “Juniores-2”, “Kandava” / “Anzāģe”, “Dimantu Akadēmija”, “Kolibri” / LU, Ogre Basketball School and Latvian U-16 national team.

In the 2018/2019 season, five Lithuanian, two Latvian and one Estonian teams participated in the Baltic Basketball League championship in the elite group, but in the 2019/2020 season – three Latvian, three Lithuanian and two Estonian teams. “TTT Riga” became the league’s two-time champions.
