Iltalehti interviewed the duo after the fall. You can watch the entire interview in the video at the beginning of the story.
In Lahtinen’s opinion, it was time for them to fall. The level has become tough in the competition.
– These are all so skilled. I really admire and encourage them. These do really cool stuff week after week. Absolutely insane throws, lifts and bends… Hear all kinds of things. You don’t hear such moves coming off Lahtinen’s dirt, Lahtinen said.
Lahtinen told Iltalehti how a friendship developed between him and Helenius during the competition.
– We have had terribly funny moments and days. We have gotten to know each other very well here. He has also gotten to know my children and bonded with them. This is the kind of bonus weather I’m baking right now… Well, not really, Lahtinen joked.
– I can already see the title! Helenius stated.
– Not that! This was just a really bad joke, I don’t know why I said it, Lahtinen laughed.
