Tangier – Five partnership agreements were signed on Monday in Tangier to strengthen the education, training and scientific research system in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
The signing ceremony for these agreements was held on the sidelines of the regional coordination meeting on the implementation of the provisions of framework law No. 51.17 relating to the system of education, training and scientific research, which ” took place in the presence in particular of the Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Saaïd Amzazi, the Deputy Minister in charge of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Driss Ouaouicha , and the wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Mohamed Mhidia.
Signed between the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) and the regional directorate of the High Commission for Planning (HCP), the first agreement aims to create a general framework for cooperation in all areas of common interest. , in particular as regards the exchange, analysis and dissemination of statistical data.
The second agreement, signed between the Academy and the regional office of the Rabita of private education in Morocco, aims, for its part, to create a general framework of partnership between the two parties, to support and accompany the institutions of education and training, relevant to the region, in the implementation of the projects of framework law n ° 51.17.
Regarding the third agreement between Abdelmalek Essaâdi University (UAE) and the Education Council of the Spanish Embassy in Morocco, it aims to promote educational and linguistic cooperation between the two parties, while the fourth agreement, signed between the UAE and the private University of Agadir, aims to encourage the promotion of seafood, develop scientific research in the field of marine sciences and train national skills in this field.
The 5th agreement between the UAE, the AREF, the Hanane Association for the care of disabled children in Tetouan and the Chorouk Association for the support of the Education and Training Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Tangier, intends, for its part, to achieve the social integration of pupils and students with specific needs in schools and universities.
The regional coordination meetings on the implementation of the provisions of framework law No. 51.17 relating to the education, training and scientific research system, launched about two months ago by the Ministry of National Education, vocational training, higher education and scientific research, ended on Monday in Tangier.
