/ world today news/ Tsvetanov does not always tell the truth. He lied in pre-election promises, he lied from the parliamentary rostrum, he lied from the screen of more than one television. He may have lied under oath before the court, and in property declarations, but let the competent authorities think about that. However, at a pre-election meeting in Troyan, Tsvetanov told the truth.
Tsvetanov does not always tell the truth. He lied in pre-election promises, he lied from the parliamentary rostrum, he lied from the screen of more than one television. He may have lied under oath before the court, and in property declarations, but let the competent authorities think about that. However, at a pre-election meeting in Troyan, Tsvetanov told the truth.
Really hot and heady like a Trojan plum. “Trojan, he said, needs a mayor of all citizens… – so far so good, textbook template – … and to be in touch with the executive power”. Oops!
So that the Trojans don’t think they are something special – he explained it in Satovcha as well. Is it because he finds them difficult to accept, he pointed it out: “I will give you the example of the municipality of Zlatograd, where 4 years ago people supported GERB and now it is an example municipality”.
And in the Pirin region, he was frankly painfully frank: “Gerchev will receive the support of the largest parliamentary group – that of GERB, and of the government ministers, in order to decide the important priorities and strategic goals of the municipality of Razlog…”
Who can deny that positivity oozes from the messages of the election-maker of the second-term incumbents. Behind which mercilessly peers the insidious profile of cruel reality.
If you happen to not pick the “right” candidate, read between the lines, you are cutting the umbilical cord with the executive branch. And what does that mean? It is not difficult to remember – after the outbreak of the strange political plant GERB on our lands, there are two types of municipalities: ours and poor ones.
If you make a wise choice, you will have European money, jobs, roads, public schools, fountains, sewage, sewage treatment plants and playgrounds. Even the local losing hospital might not close. And if you happen to be struck by a natural disaster, you will be compensated even more naturally and you will not have to spend a five-year winter in a van next to the ruins of your poor cottage on Red Cross aid.
After all, everything is in the hands of the One who opens halls, highways, city toilets, footpaths, village councils and in his spare time saves football clubs and combat aviation.
Well, if your choices are not in the right direction, you will see European funds when your plum tree gives birth to an avocado. Your children will beat their way to the middle school on the Chavdar bus on a road like a moonscape in summer, impassable in winter, you will have a water regime, in the heat septic tanks will stink, goats will graze on the playground, employment programs will are limited to the gypsies leaning on brooms in the center of the city, if you have a heart attack – not the one who hasn’t let you go since 2009 – you’ll be waiting half a day for an ambulance.
And the One who gives, saves, pacifies, builds, administers justice, captures, pats Hollande on the shoulder, and Merkel… it doesn’t matter, he will look at you not as beloved children, but as ugly stepchildren from an unloved woman…
And one morning you will wake up with an “absolute criminal” mayor (quote ex-prosecutor Roman Vasilev). Who, for one reason or another, was found by the prosecutor’s office, the GDBOP, the DANS, in the last resort the tax authorities. Then he, the poor thing, should think about the family tree of the non-existent sister. Color Color is not a strong deputy prime minister, but the colorist still occasionally turns law enforcement agencies into politrepressive ones.
So that no one thinks it’s a conspiracy theory, we’ll say: Karlovo. Long before the start of the election campaign, the prosecutor’s office emerged as a key player, and two defendants went to the polls there – the independent (however you want to read it) Brigadier General Shivikov and the orthopedic surgeon Kabaivanov. Both of them on bearded accusations that are brought out at the right time. And while for the blue veteran, the elections are more a matter of sports malice (temporary immunity?), the veteran of two missions in Afghanistan and a favorite of the sub-Balkan town has every chance to steal votes from GERB. Never mind that the All-forgiving One declared him to be an “exceedingly worthy general.” What is needed has already been thrown into the fan…
Tsvetanov told the truth. These elections will once again overturn the Latin maxim – woe betide the winners… If they are not with us.
But what gives Gerber #2 reason to think they will rule until the second coming? Or at least until the asphalt of the highways they built cracks. They have a track record of aborting the mandate. Because neither the sports halls (very nice), nor the roads (wonderful), nor the sewage treatment plants (it’s high time!) improved the wretched derege of the Bulgarian one iota. Who has shown that he is long-suffering, but when he gets fed up, he can take down even the icons from the wall and the fly-spattered posters of the Beloved of an entire nation from the window of his butcher shop. So Tsvetanov should be more moderate in his promising-threatening messages.
Whether to listen to the “voice of reason” or to their conscience will be decided by the voters. GERB – as the ruling party – has already received a second chance. It looks like he’s losing it. And even for the naked and bedraggled Bulgarian, a third-hand clothing store would come in handy. Why should worn-out politicians be an exception? And the connection between local and executive power may soon not be on the familiar phones.
