/ world today news/ There was an expression mentioned by our leader: the time and the people gave us the task of looking not for what divides us, but for what will unite us – we have been doing this for these two years.
This was stated today from the parliamentary rostrum by the chairman of the PG of GERB, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, in a declaration dedicated to the completion of the work of the 43rd National Assembly, and he thanked BSP Left Bulgaria for the bills passed during that time and with their support.
When we started the 43rd parliament, we had an extremely important task – to fulfill the recommendations of the EC and to carry out changes in the judicial system, he said, and gave an example of what has been achieved in this area – the election of the chief judicial inspector, etc., he said.
Tsvetanov focused on facts, with which he tried to convince his colleagues and the media that the welfare of Bulgarians has improved – for pensions, for tax status, for education.
Tsvetanov also addressed the main political opponents of GERB, the left-wing MPs with questions: when you talk about social measures that you will undertake in one of your possible mandates and propose spending 1.5 billion for pensions, your general social policy be in the amount of BGN 3 billion, for one management term this amounts to BGN 12 billion. Excuse me, but you have to show the legitimate sources so that this policy can be implemented, reminded the chairman of the PG of GERB.
When we started the 43rd Parliament, we had the extremely important task of fulfilling the recommendations of the EC and starting the real judicial reform. Here, Tsvetanov admitted that without all the parliamentary groups there was no way to achieve this. And he boasted: in social policy, we have 8% unemployment and an increase in the minimum wage from January 1, 2017 to BGN 460. I know you are quite nervous and worried because you have internal problems and you are trying your best to transfer all the negative energy to your political opponents. But from GERB, we want this debate, which will be conducted in this campaign, to be constructive, that we all contribute to the trust of the Bulgarian citizens in the institutions, with real solutions, urged Tsvetanov.
He presented a bouquet to the speaker of the parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva, for being patient with the speeches of the deputies from the parliamentary rostrum.
