The chairman of the PG of GERB did not rule out the possibility that the deputies could refer the referendum to Slavi Trifonov to the Constitutional Court. “We discussed with our partners, who form the parliamentary majority, the possibility of seeking some political agreement from all parliamentary groups, so that we can actually refer to the Constitutional Court and not hold a referendum on something that is clear to everyone that the big part is perhaps unconstitutional,” said Tsvetanov, specifying that only the Constitutional Court can rule on the legality of this case.
