Thursday evening 3.10.2024 at Port Prim Art Fest, offered Burgas events with Georgi Toshev and Maria Kasimova-Moase. First, in the landmark hotel in front of a full house, the journalist Georgi Toshev presented the documentary film “The Last Spectacle” and the book “Tatiana Lolova from A to Z. Notes, thoughts, photos”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the beloved actress. Although for a short time, the tape brought her back to the audience in the hall, who had the opportunity to see her in scenes from films, on archival footage, through the eyes of people close to her. Georgi Toshev also presented his book about her, which is in a very interesting format. Contains alphabetically arranged topics on which the great comedienne shares a memory, an impression or her personal life philosophy down to earth and from the heart. At an autograph meeting, everyone had the opportunity to talk to the popular journalist and ask him their questions. “I have been with Port Prim Art Fest since its first year, and today it is already seven years old,” said Georgi Toshev. “The festival connects me even more with Burgas and I am glad that I have the opportunity to be in front of you again” – he addressed the guests of the event.
Later, at another cult place in Burgas – the Modern Theater club, the journalist and writer Maria Kasimova-Moase appeared in front of the audience. She presented her storytelling show “Red Star Block 28” to a large audience. People commented along with her on the memories of “that” time – from the toys of the sotsa, through the lexicons, to the queues for televisions, bananas and gigulitas. Maria offered a return to childhood and youth with all the comic absurdities of another time. The show was not a nostalgia for the past or a social critique of the years 1969 to 1989, but a first-person narrative of comic absurdities created and experienced by unlikely characters who existed quite literally in a sense-crazy period. The journey began and ended with songs that the audience sang along with. There was much laughter, joy and shared emotions. For the first time, the show was also watched by her husband – Stefan, to whom Maria said “Yes” at a celebration in the Grand Hotel and SPA Primorets, in her beloved Burgas, where she spent the summers with her grandmother Mariika and grandfather Muharem.
