Tsvetana Maneva: I’m afraid

This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the great Bulgarian actress Tsvetana Maneva.

She is an example of spirit, determination and commitment to work. On the day of reflection, she gives us her perspective on the situation today based on her years and experience.

She says that walks are a necessity these days, even though she used to use them as a waste of time.

“I don’t see everything around us very exciting, but what worries me the most is their attitude, their relationship to each other. There is no desire to treat the man as your fellow man. That doesn’t exist. I hold out in myself the need to try to understand even those I don’t like. To accept the ones I don’t like. And that this does not cause discord and conflict between us,” Tsvetana Maneva told bTV.

She says that the political situation in our country does not hinder her, but she believes that the next generations will clean up everything that, unfortunately, was not left as a good legacy for them.

The actress noted that we have had the freedom for 30 years, but the question is how we use it.

“Freedom is a great test for everything – for feeling, for will,” she said.

Tsvetana Maneva feels like she has been celebrating her birthday for a whole year.

“I felt my self-worth. I live and work, but I haven’t thought about my net worth. I felt the incredible love and respect that the audience gives me, and that motivates and pulls me,” she said, adding, however, that she tries not to getting used to her appreciation.

Tsvetana Maneva pointed out that Yana Borisov gave her back the feeling that she was needed on the stage, and then she herself raised her spirits.

“Needing is my way of life. Different symptoms of my condition are not the most important thing once my mind is working. Yana Borisova helped me to strengthen my spirit, and I raised it to something very stable,” says the actress.

She admits to luck, good opportunity and a very happy professional destiny.

“I had trouble forgiving some people, but I got over that too, shame on them,” Maneva said.

She said her favorite word is “desire”.

“People should be long – for good, for the future, for love. The dream can come true and pass, but for me longing is something permanent and it is part of my spirit,” she shares.

“We are there to grow. You can’t walk the same path and expect to get somewhere else,” said the actress.

“I’m afraid of the dark, I like silence. I’m afraid – as they say – for you, my children,” said Tsvetana Maneva.
