Since 2007, the men’s football teams of TSV 1877 Gerbrunn have been holding a leisure tournament for regulars’ table teams, the local tournament for the “Florian Rosenbaum Cup”. The footballers donate a large part of the entry fee to a social cause. Unfortunately, the tournament could not be held at the beginning of September for known reasons, according to a press release from TSV Gerbrunn. In charge of the game leader of the first team, Sebastian Schiebe, the first and second team as well as the old men of TSV 1877 Gerbrunn were collected. The result was the sum of 1410 euros, which was given to Jana Lorenz-Eck from the parents’ initiative of children with leukemia and tumor disease in Wrzburg (Rainbow station). The donation particularly supports exercise programs for the children.
