The focus of the third division Saturday was the derby between Arminia Bielefeld and Preußen Münster in front of 24,052 spectators. And those who stuck with the DSC had – a week after the coup in the DFB Cup – again every reason to be happy: their team drove a clear 4-0 win against Munster and thus the first win of the season in the 3rd division a. Man of the match was Shipnoski, who tied a brace in the first round (19’/45′) and also hung up for Yildirim (53′). Gohlke (60th) put the final point in a one-sided derby.
Zwarts: double pack at premiere
The new table leader is TSV 1860 Munich, who bagged the full six points from the first two games – only Viktoria Köln managed to do this; Erzgebirge Aue can follow suit in Essen on Sunday.
In the traditional duel at MSV Duisburg, ice-cold lions won 3-0. First, Starke (32nd) used a lack of attention in the MSV defense as a chest release, then came the passage of new signing Zwarts: In his first competitive game for the six-year-old, the 24-year-old tied a brace (54th/86th). Perfect start to the season for the lions.
Victoria spins the game
Viktoria Köln, who won the DFB Cup 3-2 against Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, had a little more trouble. Olaf Janßen’s team initially fell behind against hosts 1. FC Saarbrücken in the Ludwigsparkstadion (Brünker, 18′), but then Schultz (31′) and Marseiler (52′) turned the game around for Viktoria Köln. Shortly before the end, Saarbrücken lost to Rizzuto, who saw his second yellow card of the game for a tactical foul.
Haching wins promotion duel
SpVgg Unterhaching, who knocked out FC Augsburg in the DFB Cup, scored 3-2 in the promoted duel against Ulm despite falling behind twice. An own goal (Schifferl, 11′) and a penalty (Reichert, 45’+5) made Ulm look like the winner for a long time, but Fetsch (40′) and Hobsch (79’/90’+6), who became the decisive man advanced, never rewarded Hachinger.
FC Ingolstadt scored its first win of the season an hour’s drive away. In the end there was a clear 4:0 against Halleschen FC. The goals were scored by Kügel (15′), Costly (55’/87′) and Mause (66′).
Dynamo Dresden lost 1-0 at SV Sandhausen on Friday evening. SV Waldhof and VfB Lübeck meet later on Saturday afternoon.
