Tsunami Warning Issued for Japan’s West Coast After 7.6 Magnitude Earthquake

Japan has issued a tsunami warning for almost its entire west coast, Bloomberg reports.

The measure was reached after a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 on the Richter scale rocked the Noto Peninsula, about 300 km from Tokyo.

A tsunami with a height of more than one meter hit the city of Wajima. There is another danger tsunami up to 5 meters high to hit Ishikawa Prefecture.
