TSF is an international shipping agency. Around 300 different ferry routes in Europe are served by around 80 shipping companies. TSF has bank accounts with all of these shipping companies and is able to provide a 24/7 booking service for the transport industry. In 2022, sales were able to expand further due to market concentration. The company led by Rupert Trawöger generated sales of almost 40 million euros in the 2022 financial year. “There are only a handful of agencies in Europe that have reached our level of service. We are one of the top five in this business sector across Europe.”

A new ferry company has established itself in the particularly competitive ferry traffic on the English Channel (Irish Ferries). “TSF is very proud to have gained representation for Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary for this shipping company,” said the managing director. “This trust from the shipping company is proof of the sustainability of our operations. We have been able to successfully install the Irish Ferries brand in these markets.”

But current economic developments are having an impact. “Customers’ creditworthiness is becoming more and more strained from month to month. On the one hand, it is important to support companies in these difficult times, and on the other hand to avoid payment defaults.” Secondly, Trawöger emphasizes that Brexit has brought with it much greater administrative effort on all routes from the EU to Great Britain. It is a great challenge for the staff to master these tasks. “Due to the very high level of automation, we manage up to 14,000 truck bookings per month with just seven employees.”
