The judge of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), Guillermo Wellman, reported that this March 20 they will deliver the certification to the deputies who were elected on February 4.
The credentials will be delivered to the 60 deputies of the Legislative Assembly for the period 2024-2027, who were chosen by Salvadoran citizens.
According to the final scrutiny of the TSE, the new Legislative Assembly will be as follows: 54 deputies from Nuevas Ideas, two from the PCN, one from the PDC, two from ARENA and one from VAMOS.
On the other hand, the TSE already delivered the certification to the president of the republic, Nayib Bukele, on February 29, who was re-elected with 2.7 million valid votes.
