Jakarta, Gizmology – Some time ago, Xiaomi Indonesia re-released a number of accessory devices to meet consumer needs, as well as an increasingly complete ecosystem of Xiaomi product offerings. According to Stephanie Sicilia, Associate Marketing Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, the presence of the three smart TV variants is a form of the company’s commitment to being more serious about working on the ecosystem product market. In order to support the government’s program to switch to digital TV broadcasting, the three have also supported DVB-T2 digital broadcasting.

When Xiaomi was able to present a 65” smart TV at a price of Rp. 9,499 million, I was a little skeptical about the quality. To answer this skepticism, Xiaomi has invited a number of media and tech reviewers to try it directly.

Although classified as the most affordable 65-inch smart TV, Xiaomi has not sacrificed a fairly crucial part of a TV, namely the screen panel. The Xiaomi TV P1E 65” screen has 4K resolution, can display 1 billion colors and supports the 78% DCI-P3 color standard. With HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support.
The color saturation is quite good, with a fairly deep black level. The existence of MEMC 60Hz technology makes TV shows have smoother motion, running in real-time. Coupled with two 10W speakers, the Xiaomi TV P1E can fill a large room without the need for additional accessories such as a soundbar. Plus Dolby Audio & DTS HD effects.

What about other complementary features? Xiaomi TV P1E 65” runs the Android TV operating system with the same interface as the other series, complete with the Patchwall application. As already mentioned, this device already supports live digital TV broadcasts.
Digital TV shows can immediately appear on the front page, and switching from one channel to another is quite easy. For the remote itself, the Xiaomi TV P1E 65” carries a number button, aka not the usual compact remote. Reportedly, because of the results of research, more consumers who need these buttons.
And I think it’s natural, considering that those who switch from tube or analog TV to smart TVs like the Xiaomi TV P1E 65” will use it in the same way, such as selecting television shows by pressing the channel number or the show.
Overall, the Xiaomi TV P1E 65” provides quite good quality for a smart TV, even though the price is relatively cheap in the class with a very large screen size. This device will be more suitable to fill a family room or other type of room that is very large.
