The operating system Windows 10X was from Microsoft developed for his upcoming foldable tablet Surface Duo and other portable devices with two screens. If you want to try Windows 10X before the official launch of the Surface Duo announced for 2021, you can do so with the help of an official Microsoft emulator.

The Windows 10X emulator only runs on Windows 10 Pro with a build number from 19555 and upwards as of April 2020 Participation in the Windows Insider program in the so-called “fast channel”. After the appearance of the Spring 2020 updates the so-called “slow channel” will also suffice.
The hardware requirements are:
at least 8 GB main memory
