Try Skull and Bones – open beta is on!

Up to proof after 11 years of development.

Indeed, it seems that Skull and Bones has been delayed for the last time, as the release is just over a week away. And today begins an open beta that lets you test how well Ubisoft has done with its multiplayer-oriented pirate adventure.

The beta started early this morning and runs until midnight Sunday the 11th. You can play it on all platforms: PC (Ubisoft Connect, Epic), PS5, Xbox Series, and you don’t need PS Plus or Xbox Live subscription to play. The beta has both cross-play and cross-progression, so all platforms play with and against each other, and saves carry over if you switch.

All progression from the beta (except for the Infamy Points you earn in Infamy Brigand) will carry over to the full version. More info about the beta and its content on this page.

System requirements for the PC version:

Skull and Bones has been in development since 2013(!!!), and was born out of the sailing part of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. Then there have been countless delays, so it will be very interesting to see how they succeeded when the game is finally released.

FZ reviews Skull and Bones it goes so fast. It will be released on the 16th.
