Trust Booth: Highlights from R’s Meeting 2023 at Fuji Speedway

The Trust booth at R’s Meeting 2023 is full of highlights

“R’s Meeting 2023 in Fuji Speedway” was held at Fuji Speedway on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Nissan’s “Skyline GT-R” and “GT-R” specialized magazine “GT-R Magazine” will be present at this event for GT-R fans, a tuning company that produces tuning for Nissan cars and GT-Rs. Let’s introduce the booths and items that interest you from among the 92 booths of manufacturers and other exhibitors.

Displaying MY24 R35 GT-R NISMO

At the TRUST booth, the latest MY24, the R35 GT-R NISMO, was displayed in front of the booth. This GT-R NISMO is equipped with Dunlop’s SP SPORT MAXX GT600 DSST CTT, Rays’ prototype 20-inch wheels, GReddy’s decals, etc., but this specification was completed the day before in conjunction with this day’s R’s Meeting. It is said to be a thing.

By the way, the vehicle on display will be a demo car, and for development purposes, the truck edition will be used to confirm the compatibility of parts and carry out new research and development. This time, only the tires and wheels were customized, but it seems possible that we will see new parts at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

Parts display focuses on the 2nd generation GT-R

The demo car on display was the latest R35 GT-R, but the parts at the booth were mainly for the second generation GT-R. Currently, early models of the R34 GT-R are becoming more popular in North America due to the so-called 25-year rule, and various brands are once again paying attention to RB26DETT engine parts.

Trust is also conducting a test in Japan as a joint project between Japan and the United States with Greddy in North America, and is considering taking some kind of action. I don’t know if it will be sold as a standalone RB26 engine, or if it will be a complete car equipped with that engine, but there is no doubt that it is a project that I am looking forward to seeing come to fruition.

Only at the event can you actually see and touch it.

Therefore, inside the Trust booth, there were many parts for the RB26 on display, including surge tanks and parts including prototype pipes. Other items on display included steering wheels, shift knobs, and apparel, and various owners could be seen visiting the booth to pick up and inspect the parts.

After all, it is only at a GT-R-only event that manufacturers are able to source pinpoint parts. In that sense, it seemed like the perfect event to appeal to owners. By the way, many of the owners who saw the black surge tank and picked it up commented, “It’s nice.”

AMW Nomikata

As a side note, there is a hidden popular part of the Trust that I wasn’t able to see at the booth this time. It’s a shift knob shaped like an underwater flower. In fact, this shift knob is said to be handmade, and is reportedly in short supply.
