“Think about who gets aid and who doesn’t, and everyone will know everything they need to know about our government and what it thinks of you,” Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.
The eldest son of former US President Donald Trump has shared an image on Twitter with the Governor’s photo de Ohio, Mike DeWine —who has recently been seeking help from the federal government for the environmental disaster in the state—, with the superimposed face of the Ukrainian presidentVladimir Zelenski, referring to his repeated requests for financial assistance for Ukraine, which, unlike those of the Republican politician, are usually met.
Donald Trump Jr. made the post after the Biden Administration will reject last Thursday Mike DeWine’s request for help in the emergency after the release of toxic substances in Ohio caused by the derailment of the train that was transporting them.
“Ohio Governor After Biden Denies His Disaster Relief Request,” reads the caption of the image that shows the governor wearing a Zelensky mask.
Initially, the photo was shared by Republican Senator Rand Paul along with the phrase “It’s worth a try”suggesting, ironically, a possible way out to get the support of the White House.
“Think about who gets aid and who doesn’t, and everyone will know everything they need to know about our Government and what it thinks of you,” Trump Jr. tweeted.
