Donald Trump’s much-anticipated interview with Elon Musk has experienced major technical difficulties, causing a 40-minute delay.
The problems, which some attributed to hackers, led to widespread speculation on social media, with the term “crash” going viral as users expressed their frustration.
Trump supporters even suggested that perhaps the massive interest in the interview may have caused the platform to collapse.
Despite these problems the “interview” began with Trump taking the opportunity to attack immigrants once again, while attributing this delay to a “massive cyber attack”.
As reported by the Guardian, Trump met with the billionaire for an “unbridled and vitriolic interview” that brought up many of the former president’s most divisive talking points.
The former president opened the conversation with a lengthy account of his July assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. He said he will return to the city in October, just before the November election.

For his part, Trump steered the conversation to his usual anti-immigration views, warning of “tough people” trying to enter the country through the US-Mexico border.
