WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – Manager campaign President United States of America ( AS) Donald Trump, Bill Stepien, tested positive for the corona virus.
The campaign spokesman, Tim Murtaugh, has confirmed the news was first reported by Politico.
Politico said Stepien received his diagnosis on Friday (2/10/2020) and experienced “mild flu-like symptoms.”
Ronna McDaniel, chairman of the National Committee Republican Party, also announced on Friday that he tested positive for the coronavirus as reported Associated Press.

McDaniel is joined by Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Trump aide Hope Hicks, and many others.
Stepien, who joined Trump in Tuesday’s first presidential debate, plans to self-quarantine until he recovers.
Just before 1 a.m. Friday morning local time, Trump wrote on Twitter that he and Melania Trump had tested positive for Covid-19.
Initially Trump’s personal doctor, Sean Conley, said that Trump planned to stay in the White House.

But on Friday afternoon, the White House announced that Trump was being transferred to the Walter Reed Medical Center military hospital.
Until now, it has not been revealed who infected Trump.
Trump wears masks very, very rarely and so far he has been around hundreds or even thousands of people.
He traveled here and there such as attending campaigns, attending golf clubs, presidential debates, fundraising, and meeting with people involved in his nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

Hicks also fell ill with the corona virus on Wednesday (30/09/2020) while accompanying Trump on a fundraising campaign in Minnesota, USA.
However, it is unclear whether the case is related to Trump.
Senator Mike Lee who was at the White House at the end of last week announced on Friday (2/10/2020) that he had tested positive for Covid-19.
The White House Medical Unit is scheduled to trace the president’s contacts.
