Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that US presidential candidate Donald Trump, if he wins the election, will try to stop the conflict in Ukraine even before it was established.
As he writes politicsOrban made this comment while speaking at a press conference in Strasbourg, where he spoke about the upcoming elections in the United States and “his friend Trump.”
The Prime Minister noted that there was a “significant difference” between Trump’s foreign policy approach and the current Democratic administration. He promised to open a few bottles of champagne “if Trump comes back.”
Orban expressed confidence that if Trump wins, “he will not wait for the inauguration to bring peace to Ukraine.”
“Trump’s action is immediate, so we, the European leaders, must not waste time, because between the elections and the inauguration of the new president there will not be two or three months, as usual,” Orban said.
