The ban came after the former president urged his supporters to stop the inauguration of President Joe Biden via social media.
Now he is creating his own social media channel, according to ABC News.
The new social network will be called “Truth Social” and will probably be launched for invited guests during the next month, this was announced by Trump on Thursday night Norwegian time.
The platform will be owned by the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). According to Trump, the group must form “a rival to the liberal media consortium.”
In March, his plans to launch his own social media were announced, and Trump spokesman Jason Miller said he thought it would be in place within the next two to three months, according to Washington Post.
“It will change the game completely, and everyone will wait and see what President Trump does,” he said.
Miller predicted that the launch would be big.
